Overview

Senior Product Manager at RewardOps

RewardOps - Points at Work

Location: Toronto, ON

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our team and lead the development of our channel incentive software. You'll be responsible for creating products that directly impact our customers' bottom line by motivating and empowering their sales teams. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about building intuitive, effective, and engaging software.

As our ideal candidate, you have a solid background in sales incentives, channel management, or a related field. You know what it takes to drive sales performance and you're ready to translate that experience into a product that our customers will love.

What You'll Do
  • Own the product roadmap for our channel incentive software, defining the vision, strategy, and working with the Points at Work team to determine a go-to-market plan. This includes building features that support a variety of sales incentives, such as commission structures, SPIFFs (Special Performance Incentive Funds), sales contests, and tiered rewards.
  • Conduct market research and customer interviews to understand the needs of sales leaders, channel partners, and sales reps. You will dive deep into how they manage and respond to performance-based incentives and non-cash rewards.
  • Translate customer insights into clear product requirements and user stories for the engineering and design teams. You will be responsible for defining the user experience for setting up, managing, and tracking a range of incentive programs, from simple team-based contests to complex, multi-level channel partner reward systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to deliver a high-quality product that meets the specific needs of sales and channel incentive programs.
  • Analyze product performance using data and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and new opportunities, particularly around incentive effectiveness and user engagement.
  • Serve as a product evangelist internally and externally, communicating the value and features of our products.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager in a software or technology company.
  • Demonstrated experience with sales programs, channel management, or software that engages and incentivizes sales teams. You should have a strong understanding of different incentive models and their application, including but not limited to channel sales, direct sales, and distribution partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of the sales lifecycle and what drives sales motivation, including both monetary and non-monetary incentives.
  • Proven ability to manage the entire product lifecycle from discovery to launch and iteration.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Data-driven mindset with a knack for using analytics to make product decisions.
