Zusammenfassung

CIMA+’s Protection and Control Engineer role is based in Western Canada, focusing on large-scale electrical energy projects across Canada. You will work with P&C designers on substations, hydroelectric plants and renewable energy projects, contributing to design, reviews and commissioning.

You will develop protection and control schemes, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure safety and quality in a hybrid work environment across Canada.

Qualifikationen

• University Degree in Electrical engineering (required).
• Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer in Canada (P.Eng).
• 6+ years of experience on Protection & Control projects.
• Strong knowledge of protection and control principles.
• Experience in detailed P&C design with utilities in Canada.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).

Aufgaben

• Design and review protection and control drawings for substations and power systems.
• Approve project deliverables including detail drawings and diagrams.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines and project managers.
• Prepare plans, drawings and calculations from specifications.
• Develop electrical command and protection diagrams and related panels.
• Support commissioning and field engineering.
