Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking an Intermediate Protection and Control Engineer to join our Western Canada offices. You will work with P&C designers on large electrical energy projects, focusing on substations and renewable energy initiatives across Canada.

You will develop protection schemes, perform site surveys, and coordinate with civil, mechanical, and electrical teams to deliver innovative substation solutions. A Canadian PE path is preferred, with strong English communication and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• P.Eng registration or eligibility is mandatory in Canada.
• 8+ years of experience on protection & control projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and review protection & control drawings for substations and power systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and project managers from other disciplines.
• Prepare plans, drawings and calculations from specifications.
