Job summary

CIMA+ is seeking a Protection and Control Engineer to join our Western Canada team. You will contribute to large-scale electrical energy projects from design through commissioning, collaborating with experienced professionals across Canada.

You will design protection and control systems for substations and power plants, coordinate with civil, mechanical, and building teams, and perform QA/QC and site support as needed.

• Fluent in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Design and review protection and control drawings for substation and power systems.
• Coordinate with engineering disciplines and project managers across teams.
• Prepare plans, drawings, calculations based on specifications.
• Develop electrical command and protection diagrams and related documentation.
• Support site surveys, commissioning, and field engineering.
