Job summary

Colliers is seeking a Senior Lease Auditor to join the Lease Administration/Audit team. The role focuses on managing and performing lease audits for OPEX, CAM, RET, insurance and utilities across various lease types.

The candidate will interpret complex lease language, coordinate with landlords, and prepare final analyses and cost recovery invoices. A strong background in real estate lease administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, real estate or similar field preferred.
• Experience in commercial real estate lease administration and/or paralegal, accounting or property management roles.

Responsibilities

• Review pre-audit routines for annual expense reconciliations to ensure accuracy and lease compliance.
• Interpret lease provisions related to landlord charges and pass-throughs (CAM, taxes, insurance, etc.).
• Communicate with landlords to obtain backup documentation and resolve audit disputes.
• Analyze landlord documents: ledgers, tax bills, insurance, invoices, amortization schedules.
• Prepare final findings and savings opportunities for clients and internal teams.
