Education:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:
- 2 years or more as a kitchen cabinet maker
- Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

- Factory (kitchen cabinet manufacturing factory)

- Kitchen cabinets and vanities
General Tasks:
- Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, to cut, shape and form parts and components
- Shape surfaces or edges of wood workpieces, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files.
- Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made
- Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints
- Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics
- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
- Determine layout and installation procedures
- Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Utilize hand and power tools
- Repair and service interior prefabricated products
Specific Tasks:
- Estimate and gather materials required for production by selecting the proper quality of wood to meet the requirements of the finished components
- Use shapers and moulders, jigs, templates, rulers, assortment of clamps, measuring tapes and electronic equipment to accurately measure wood for cutting and shaping
- Cut and detail wood for production
- Cut, drill, sand or plane materials for appropriate fit
- Edgeband materials as required
- Ensure fittings and other hardware components are correct and of good quality.
- Attach fittings and other components to finished cabinetry.
- Construct and maintain structural woodwork, shelving, flooring, drawers, doors etc.
- Problem solve and provide recommendations for cabinet issues that arise in production or during installations
- Other duties as assigned
