Overview

JOB STATEMENT:

The Finance Department is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for WMS, IDC WIN and its affiliates. Reporting to the IDCWIN Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the month-end and year-end processes, general ledger account reconciliation, analysis and financial reporting. The incumbent will also assist in the annual budget process.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the monthly/quarterly/annual accounting cycles for responsibility areas;
  • Responsible for accounting and reconciliation of accounts on a timely basis;
  • Responsible for monthly/ quarterly/ annual financial reporting and analysis in accordance with IFRS;
  • Ensure that all financial accounting and reporting processes and the associated accounting research, are in accordance with IFRS;
  • Lead management of accounting policies, internal controls, risk management, and process documentation/improvements;
  • Manage external audit, and act as the lead for year-end audits;
  • Support the development of financial budgets and forecasts; and
  • Work on other special projects as requested by the Controller and the business.
Qualifications
  • Designated Accountant with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant financial services experience
  • University Degree preferred - Bachelor of Commerce, Business Administration or Accounting
  • Audit experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Advanced analytical capabilities
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills, experience working within a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Familiarity with Multiview accounting software an asset
