A transportation and logistics company is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Bolton, ON. This role involves financial forecasting, model development, and leading dashboard creation using Power BI. The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of experience in financial analysis, a CPA designation, and the ability to partner with senior staff. Our client is a transportation and logistics company. They are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for completing complex financial planning and analysis requirements, offering accurate reporting and thorough analysis of key business information and drivers. The Senior Financial Analyst is a tactical reporter of the business, with a financial focus that extends to all operating areas of the business, reporting to the Manager, FP&A. The ideal candidate is a professional who thrives on using advanced tools for finance systems, visual dashboarding & data mining.

This position is for senior-level finance professionals that are looking for a fast-paced work environment with ample opportunity for growth and learning
Perform financial forecasting and budgeting to support business planning and decision-making processes
Responsible for developing financial models, costing models, scenario analysis models, etc. to analyse product profitability using facts, data and financial analysis tools
Lead in the creation of financial, operational & executive dashboards using Power BI
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite software
Partners with cross-functional teams in identifying cost efficiencies for the business and evaluating cost management
Compile, analyse and distribute summary information relating to KPI’s & other metrics
Coordinate the implementation of processes that facilitate a more efficient month-end review process
Ensuring the accurate completion of monthly financial analysis for review by the Manager
Assist in the implementation and development of new systems and processes
3-4+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience
CPA Designation or close to completion
Strong business partnering capability
Own your role, working with senior level staff across the organization
Industry: Manufacturing, logistics or similar.
