Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in a multi-year investment platform transformation program, modernizing technology, data, and workflows across investment, operations, and finance. The focus will be on implementing the Aladdin platform to streamline processes, increase scalability, and improve decision-making. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in front office functions, investment workflows, and transformation delivery within capital markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with front office SMEs to document business and functional requirements for the Aladdin platform implementation
  • Lead workshops to capture current vs. future-state processes and redesign workflows for efficiency
  • Deliver clear business requirement specifications to guide solution design, testing, and reporting
  • Collaborate with project management, change management, and training teams to drive successful adoption
  • Track project milestones, risks, and dependencies, providing timely updates to stakeholders
Required Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Engineering (CFA or similar designation an asset)
  • 6+ years of business analysis experience, with strong knowledge of front office processes (order management, trade execution, lifecycle events) across equities, fixed income, ETDs, OTCs, and FX
  • 3+ years delivering investment technology transformation projects (Aladdin, CRD, Bloomberg, or similar)
