Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience building and operating large-scale production Machine Learning systems.
• Proven track record of owning ML platforms or infrastructure used by multiple teams.
• Strong system design skills, capable of making long-term architectural tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Set long-term technical direction for AI/ML strategy, influencing multiple teams.
• Own architecture and evolution of AI/ML systems.
• Drive design and delivery of complex, high-impact ML systems.

Skills

Building and operating large-scale production Machine Learning systems

Owning ML platforms or infrastructure

Strong system design skills

Expert-level proficiency in Python

Experience with additional languages like Scala, Go, or Rust

Hands-on experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)

Experience with MLOps practices

Background in data-intensive and distributed systems (Spark, object storage)

Ability to lead through influence
