Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead capacity.
• Strong Corporate Accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and/or approve journal entries for compliance with ASPE and GAAP.
• Support and coordinate the month-end and year-end processes to ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide guidance and oversight to a team of accountants.
• Manage and supervise the accounting team for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly.
• Collaborate to gather and analyze financial data.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Contribute to developing accounting policies and procedures.
