Job summary

A leading professional services firm in Ontario is seeking a candidate for a role involving financial data reconciliation, review of accounts, and basic financial analysis. Ideal candidates will have an associate's degree, QuickBooks and/or Xero certification, and 2+ years of experience. Qualifications

  • Ability to create macros and/or VB scripts in Microsoft Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile data from various applications such as HubDoc, Wagepoint.
  • Review accounts receivable/accounts payable.
  • Prepare basic analytical reports and cash flow statements.

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile data from 3rd party applications such as HubDoc, Wagepoint, etc.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements in QuickBooks Online and Xero
  • Reconcile and review sales data
  • Review accounts receivable/accounts payable and process using 3rd party applications
  • Review payroll time entries and process payroll
  • Run GST/HST/PST reports, review audit trail and file reports with CRA
  • Prepare T4 returns
  • Set up client files, assist with the completion of budgets and complete administrative planning and other aspects of cloud accounting work
  • Perform/assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
  • Perform basic financial analysis
  • Prepare basic analytical reports and cash flow statements
  • Participate in client discovery calls
  • Collaborate with clients on a regular basis
  • Train and mentor junior colleagues
