Ensure a smooth, hassle-free checkout experience by assisting customers at the self-service kiosks. You’ll be the friendly face guiding members through transactions and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

About the role: Self Checkout Attendant

In this position, you will monitor and maintain the self-service area—keeping it free of debris and ensuring tills are stocked with cash. You’ll observe customer activity and intervene with polite quality checks, explaining protocols and reassuring shoppers throughout the process.

You will also educate customers on using self-checkout features, promote credit card services and charity initiatives, respond to EAS alarms, and return Scan & Go scanners after use. When technical issues or low cash levels occur, you’ll promptly notify the Customer Service Manager.
