Job description

Overview

Our client is looking for contract resources to support the extension of GTS (e4H) to the SAP ECC system. The focus of this extension will target the ITAR certified plant sites to use core GTS functionality.

GTS Functional Analyst:

The GTS functional analyst will support implementation tasks and project deliverables. Knowledge/understanding of SAP ECC master data, sales & distribution, and supply chain processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the DT GTS and SAP teams through the different stages of the project.
• Produce design blueprints/technical specs in alignment with the project architect.
• Understand and perform GTS configuration, with a focus on the core GTS functions:
  • SPL Screening
  • Embargo
  • Licensing/Legal Regulations
  • Classification
• Write/deliver functional specifications.
• Complete Quality Review process with technical development resources.
• Support conversion and testing cycles:
  • Execute unit testing
  • Write new functional test scripts and execute
  • Support UAT test scripting efforts and test execution
• Troubleshoot and perform basic debugging to solve application or configuration issues.
• Document the technical solutions designed as part of this project.
• Create training materials and deliver training to over 50+ users in partnership with Global Trade.
• Provide go-live support through stabilization.

These persons will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, planning, developing, testing, documenting, and implementing processes for this project. Coordination and collaboration across functional teams and business partners.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP GTS and ECC functionality; knowledge of ECC master data, sales & distribution, and supply chain processes is preferred.
• Ability to produce design, technical, and functional specifications; experience with testing cycles and user acceptance testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot and debug.
• Excellent documentation and training material development capabilities.
