Job summary

Richelieu Hardware Ltd is seeking a Coatings & Finishing Sales Representative in Canada to reach and surpass assigned sales goals by calling on coatings and finishing dealers in the assigned territory and presenting Richelieu products.

You will quote, sell and manage the full cycle of orders from inception to completion, maintain pricing, and lead educational events for trade professionals and the sales team.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales for coatings/finishing is preferred.
• Ability to develop and deliver client presentations is required.
• Familiarity with CRM and pricing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Call on trade professionals to quote and manage full cycle orders.
• Maintain pricing and assist team in closing orders.
• Develop and deliver standard and customized presentations to customers.
• Respond to sales inquiries by phone, email or in person.

Under the supervision of the Regional Sales Manager, the Coatings & Finishing Sales Representative is responsible to reach and surpass assigned sales goals. He/she will call on coatings and finishing dealers in assigned territory.

The Coatings & Finishing Sales Representative is responsible for selecting, quoting and selling coatings and finishing projects while maintaining accurate pricing information, contributing to the profitability of the sales department and providing complete customer satisfaction. Will maximize Richelieu product offerings through structured sales presentations. Responsible to participate in constant training to learn how products and services are used. Will lead educational events for trade professionals and sales team. The Coatings & Finishing Sales Representative will work together with other team members to share ideas and solutions.

Manage Day-to-day Sales Activities Including

• Call on and work with trade professionals and their clients, to select and quote Coatings and Finishing projects o Quote, sell and manage the full cycle ordering process for all coatings and finishing projects from inception to completion
• Maintain pricing for the Coatings and Finishing department
• Assist sales team in finding and closing orders
• Assist sales team with gaining knowledge of Coatings and Finishing products
• Develop and deliver standard and customized presentations to new and existing customers o Respond to sales inquiries and leads by phone, e-mail or in person
• Update customers on new products and pricing
• Develop and maintain customer database
• Input and maintain information in HighGear system
