Position Overview :

Are you passionate about connecting with people, uncovering opportunities, and helping businesses solve real problems? If you’re a natural relationship builder who thrives in fast-paced environments, this role is for you. We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive new business growth through highly targeted outbound prospecting .

You’ll build and prioritize prospect lists, research accounts, conduct cold and warm outreach, and use tools like LinkedIn and AI to scale your impact. You’ll lead introductory calls, identify prospect pain points, and work closely with our sales and marketing teams to convert leads into qualified opportunities.

You’ll be part of a collaborative and driven sales team that values creativity, experimentation, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build and manage a high-quality outbound prospect list of cannabis retailers
  • Conduct deep account research to identify key decision-makers and business needs
  • Execute cold and warm outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Book and lead introductory calls to uncover pain points and qualify prospects
  • Clearly articulate Breadstack’s value proposition in early sales conversations
  • Maintain accurate lead records and activities in HubSpot CRM
  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine messaging and optimize outreach strategies
  • Experiment with new tools, scripts, and techniques to improve results
  • Share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of our outbound sales process
  • Number of qualified leads generated per week / month
  • Discovery meetings or demos booked
  • Lead-to-opportunity conversion rate
  • CRM task completion and data hygiene

Requirements :

  • 3–5 years of SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience in a B2B, SaaS, or technical solutions environment
  • Strong working knowledge of HubSpot CRM and task / project tools like Jira
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and active listening
  • Proven ability to research, prioritize, and execute against sales targets
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for understanding customer challenges and industry trends
  • Bonus Points : Familiarity with Cannabis retailers
  • Inbound / outbound B2B sales development : min 2 years (required)
  • High-volume cold calling (100+ per day) : min 2 years (required)
