Position Overview
The sales coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the Sales team in driving growth with key retail accounts across the USA and Canada. This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales operations, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring smooth execution of customer programs for both branded and private label products.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the Sales team, customers, and internal departments (R&D, Marketing, Production, Supply Chain etc.)
- Support account management for major retailers by preparing presentations, sales reports and product submissions.
- Coordinate new product launches and packaging changes with cross-functional teams.
- Monitor and track customer forecasts and demand planning, while supporting CRM with orders and shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales data, pricing files, and promotional calendars.
- Assist with trade marketing initiatives, promotional planning, and retailer program submissions.
- Prepare and update sales dashboards, performance reports, and competitive market analysis.
- Manage customer portals for item setup, compliance requirements, forecast and velocity reporting, and promotional submissions.
- Provide administrative support including contract tracking, sample coordination, and follow up on customer requests.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-4 years of experience in sales support, sales coordination or account management within CPG, FMCG, or Retails.
- Experience working with major retailers in (USA and Canada) and familiarity with vendor portals is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with MS Office and experience working with ERP/CRM systems a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
