Job summary

The Wine Shop in Whitby, Ontario, is seeking a dedicated teammate to deliver a superior shopping experience. You will assist customers with purchases, share product knowledge, and help keep displays neat and inviting.

Requirements include at least 2 years in customer service, Smart Serve certification, experience with POS systems, and the ability to lift 40 lbs. Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook on Windows and a willingness to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding customer service is provided to every customer
• Assist customers with their purchases and provides them with product information when required
• Assists with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and display units
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till
• Complies with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace
• Team player who contributes equally to the team's efforts.
