Job summary

The Wine Shop in Orangeville, Ontario is seeking a dedicated sales teammate to join our team and deliver a superior shopping experience to every customer. This role emphasizes guest service, product knowledge, and a friendly, helpful attitude.

Ideal candidates will have 2 years of customer service experience, Smart Serve certification, and familiarity with POS systems and cash handling. Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook, flexible scheduling, and the ability to lift 40 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus.
• Experience with computer-based point of sale systems and cash handling.
• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Working knowledge of Windows applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to consistently lift 40lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring total customer satisfaction and outstanding customer service is provided to every customer.
• Assist customers with their purchases and provide product information when required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and display units.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Complies with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace.
• Team player who contributes equally to the team's efforts.
