Job summary

The Wine Shop at Andrew Peller Limited is seeking a dedicated sales teammate to deliver a superior shopping experience. You will assist customers, provide product knowledge, and help with merchandising and stock lighting while performing regular cash handling duties.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in customer service, Smart Serve certification, and comfort with Windows-based software. The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and ability to lift up to

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification required.
• Experience with computer-based point of sale systems and cash handling is an asset.
• Familiarity with Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information when required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light shelf/display cleaning.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules and workplace security.
• Be a team player contributing to the overall team effort.
