Job summary

The Wine Shop Ltd. is hiring an energetic teammate to deliver an exceptional shopping experience in Ontario. The role emphasizes guest service, product knowledge, and teamwork across sales, merchandising, and store operations.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of customer service experience, Smart Serve certification, and comfort with POS systems and Windows applications. Flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook on Windows.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems and cash handling is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information when required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, light cleaning of shelves and display units.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Complies with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace.
• Team player who contributes to the team's efforts.

• Demonstrated guest/customer service excellence focus
• Experience working with computer-based point of sale systems and handling cash an asset
• 2 years of customer service experience required
• Smart Serve Certification
• Working knowledge of Windows application including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to consistently lift 40lbs on a regular basis
