Job Description
  • Increase sales to existing customers.
  • Identify and approach potential prospects.
  • Make presentations to clients about the advantages and applications of goods or services.
  • Prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates should all be estimated or quoted.
  • Prepare or supervise the preparation of sales contracts or other contracts.
  • Consult with clients following the sale or signing of contracts to address issues and give ongoing support.
  • Examine and adjust information on product advances, rivals, and market circumstances.
  • Represent business that export and import goods and services to and from other countries.
  • Sales transactions may be conducted using Internet-based electronic commerce.
  • Other sales reps’ activities may be supervised.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or a similar discipline.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • A dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to quickly establish rapport with both clients and suppliers.
