Job summary

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is seeking a Royal Service Manager to lead the Front Office and Royal Service operations, ensuring world-class guest experiences in a luxury mountain setting.

You will mentor team members, coordinate with hotel departments, and champion service standards through ongoing training and performance evaluations. Join a property that blends iconic hospitality with the Canadian Rockies.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Property Manager is an asset.
• Experience in supervisory roles is preferred.
• University/College degree in a related discipline preferred.

• Lead and manage all aspects of the Front Office and Royal Service operations, ensuring all service standards are consistently achieved.
• Oversee switchboard operations within Royal Service
• Mentor colleagues through ongoing training and performance evaluation
• Maintain liaison with all hotel departments to ensure effective communications

Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new Royal Service Manager. You will inspire your team to be brand ambassadors, while your organization and communication will ensure that all guest interactions reflect our guests' preferences and anticipate their needs.

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Lead and manage all aspects of the Front Office and Royal Service operations, ensuring all service standards are consistently achieved.
• Oversee switchboard operations within Royal Service
• Championing Royal Service communication tools such as switchboard, KIPSU and Telus concerns
• Mentor colleagues through ongoing training, performance evaluation and corrective measures as required
• Oversee colleague planning, recruitment, selection and development through goal development and coaching
• Maintain close liaison with all departments within the hotel to ensure effective and timely communications
• Ensure delivery of exceptional service through focus on training, problem resolution, employee satisfaction and analysis of customer feedback and trends
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Advance knowledge of Property Manager, MS Office and Watson an asset
• Demonstrated strong supervisory and leadership skills. Previous Management experience an asset
• University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
• Discretion and integrity required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong delegation and results orientated
• Highly organized, decisive, adaptable to change and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure
• Professional presentation, demeanor and telephone manner with a passion to exceed guest expectations

Visa Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
