Job summary

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Canada seeks a General Manager, Outlets to lead our premier dining venues, drive service excellence, and deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will oversee the day-to-day operations, mentor leaders, manage forecasts, and ensure quality and efficiency across outlets in a luxury setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management.
• "Proserve" Certified.
• Must be computer literate with Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access and Windows programs.
• Experience in a high-volume bar setting is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Silverware is preferred.
• Post-secondary degree in Hospitality or F&B Management is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Oversee service excellence and day-to-day operation.
• Oversee recruitment, mentorship and development of department leaders and staff.
• Coach employees to ensure superior guest service as the primary focus.

Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new General Manager, Outlets. Creating an engaging work environment for colleagues of Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is as important as turning moments into memories for our guests.

As a General Manager, Outlets you will provide vision and leadership that fosters an engaged team and ensures quality, efficiency and superior service. This position will be responsible for the effective and efficient day to day operation of a fast paced premier dining establishment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Responsible for the service excellence and efficient day to day operation
• Oversee the recruitment, mentorship and development of department leaders, and employees
• Actively coach all employees to ensure that superior guest service is the primary focus
• Participate in monthly forecasting and month end commentary
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage or Hotel Management

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management
• Strong beverage, culinary and wine knowledge required
• “Proserve” Certified
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Windows programs
• Minimum of one year experience in a high volume bar setting, preferably in a full service four or five diamond property is a strong asset but not required
• Experience with Silverware is preferred
• Post-secondary degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management an asset

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
