Job summary

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is seeking a Royal Service Agent to act as a brand ambassador, delivering anticipative service to guests by phone and in-person. You will be instrumental in creating a luxurious experience from check-in to farewell, coordinating excursions, reservations, and guest requests while maintaining brand standards.

The role requires strong English communication, a year of customer service, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, in the stunning Canadian

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows.
Knowledge of hotel facilities and Property Manager asset preferred.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights.
Typing skills around 40 wpm.
Excellent telephone etiquette and fluent English.
Strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests.
Follow departmental policies and service standards.
Answer inquiries via telephone or radio promptly and professionally.
Record reservations accurately in the Property Manager system.
Manage guest messages and wake-up calls, and book activities and dining.
Serve as a liaison for guests seeking hotel information.
Assist in emergency procedures and coordinate with Security as needed.

Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as our new Royal Service Agent. As a Royal Service Agent, you will be an ambassador for our brand where the engaging and anticipative service you provide over the telephone will make our guests feel valued and reflect the exceptional hotel experience to come.

What You Will Be Doing

Reporting to the Royal Service Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
Ensure all external and internal guest/colleague inquiries and concerns are answered promptly and professionally either by telephone or the radio system
Accurately record all required reservation information in the Property Management System (Property Manager).
Monitor and track special promotions and communicate information to various operational departments
Process and distribute all guest messages and guest wake-up calls
Book daily excursions, golf tee times, dining reservations and all other guest activities as required
Serve as a liaison for Guests requiring information relating to all aspects of the hotel
Monitor the fire panel and emergency line and inform Security Department of all emergencies while following appropriate emergency procedures

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
Minimum 1 year Customer service experience required
Good knowledge of hotel facilities and previous Property Manager asset
Must be willing to work flexible shifts (incl. night shifts)
Computer and typing skills, approximately 40 words per minute
Must possess professional telephone etiquette and have an excellent command of the English language
Must possess excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills

Visa Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
