Job summary

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, nestled in the Canadian Rockies, seeks a seasoned General Manager, Outlets to lead our premier dining operations with a vision for exceptional guest experiences. You will inspire an engaged team, drive service excellence, and oversee the day-to-day operation of a fast-paced, high-volume outlet environment.

Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will recruit and mentor department leaders, forecast performance, and ensure seamless guest experiences across

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of senior experience in F&B Management.
• Strong beverage, culinary and wine knowledge required.
• Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience in a high-volume bar setting preferred but not required.
• Post-secondary degree in Hospitality or F&B Management is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Oversee service excellence and day-to-day operation.
• Recruitment, mentorship and development of department leaders and staff.
• Actively coach employees to ensure superior guest service.
• Participate in monthly forecasting and month-end commentary.

As a General Manager, Outlets youwill provide vision and leadership that fosters an engaged team and ensures quality,efficiencyand superior service. This position willbe responsible forthe effective and efficientday to dayoperation of a fast pacedpremier dining establishment.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Food & Beverage,responsibilitiesand essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional,friendlyand engaging service
• Responsible for the service excellence and efficient day to day operation
• Oversee the recruitment, mentorship and development of department leaders, and employees
• Actively coach all employees to ensure that superior guest service is the primary focus
• Participate in monthly forecasting and month end commentary
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Food & Beverage or Hotel Management

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum five years of senior experience in Food & Beverage Management
• Strong beverage, culinary and wine knowledgerequired
• Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Windows programs
• Minimum of one year experience in ahigh volumebar setting, preferably in a full service four or five diamond property is a strong asset but notrequired
• Experience with Silverware is preferred
• Post-secondary degree in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management an asset

Visa Requirements:Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable toassistcandidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
