Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in the Canadian Rockies invites you to join as our Royal Service Agent, an ambassador for our luxury brand delivering warm, anticipatory service by telephone and in person to our valued guests.

Reporting to the Royal Service Manager, you will handle reservations, bookings, guest inquiries, and daily activities while maintaining flawless guest experience. Strong English, fast typing, and friendly communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
• Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including nights.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and English language skills.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, friendly, engaging service to guests.
• Record reservation information accurately in the system.
• Answer guest inquiries via telephone or radio promptly and professionally.
• Book daily excursions, dining reservations, and activities.
• Act as a liaison for guests requiring hotel information and services.

Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality atFairmontJasper Park Lodge,asour newRoyal Service Agent.AsaRoyal Service Agent,you will be an ambassador for our brandwhere the engaging and anticipative service you provide over the telephone will make our guests feel valued and reflect the exceptional hotel experience to come.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to theRoyal Service Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offer professional,friendlyand engaging service
• Follow departmental policies,proceduresand service standards
• Ensure all external and internal guest/colleague inquiries and concerns are answered promptly and professionally either by telephone or the radio system
• Accurately record all required reservation information in the Property Management System (Property Manager).
• Monitor and track special promotions and communicate information to various operational departments
• Process and distribute all guest messages and guest wake-up calls
• Book daily excursions, golf tee times, diningreservationsand all other guest activities asrequired
• Serve as a liaison for Guests requiring information relating to all aspects of the hotel
• Monitor the fire panel and emergency line and inform Security Department of all emergencies while followingappropriate emergencyprocedures
• Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
• Minimum 1 year Customer service experience required
• Good knowledge of hotel facilities and previous Property Manager asset
• Must be willing to work flexible shifts (incl. night shifts)
• Computer and typing skills, approximately 40 words per minute
• Must possess professional telephone etiquette and have an excellent command of the English language
• Must possess excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills

Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
