Job summary

Dollarama in Saint-Eustache, QC is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support store management, oversee daily operations, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will assist with staffing, shipments, shelf replenishment, safety and cleanliness, and daily cash procedures. This role offers hands-on leadership development and opportunities to advance within the company.

Qualifications

• Approximately one year of relevant experience in retail.
• At least one year in a supervisory role.
• Flexible availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Customer service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the management team in store operations and staff.
• Boxing and unboxing daily shipments.
• Stocking daily products on shelves.
• Climbing ladders to reach all areas of the store.
• Providing good customer service and resolving customer issues.
• Ensuring store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Following up on assigned tasks.
• Conducting manager-on-duty tasks: tracking daily breaks, time and attendance, and participating in hiring and performance management.
