Dollarama in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support the management team in daily retail operations and staff oversight while ensuring excellent customer service and a well-organized store environment.

The role involves supervising store operations, handling shipments, stocking shelves, and ensuring safety and cleanliness. You will participate in hiring and performance processes and assist with opening/closing duties in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Approximately one (1) year of relevant experience in the retail industry.
• At least one (1) year in a supervisory role.
• Flexible availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Customer service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the management team in managing store operations and staff.
• Boxing and unboxing daily shipments.
• Stocking daily products on shelves.
• Climbing ladders to reach all areas of the store.
• Providing good customer service and resolving customer issues.
• Ensuring store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Following up on assigned tasks.
• Conducting manager-on-duty tasks: making sure daily breaks, time and attendance are properly tracked and participating in the hiring and performance management process.
