Purdys Chocolatier in the Toronto area is seeking a Team Lead for our new pop-up at Scarborough Town Centre. You will guide staff, supervise merchandising, customer service and shop operations, with training starting in Oshawa in mid-October ahead of the late-October opening.

Job type: Part-time, 6-Month Contract

Hours are estimated to be: 24 hours per week

Expected hourly pay: $20.25 per hour

Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Lead to help lead our team to success at our new pop-up shop in Scarborough Town Centre. The successful candidate will begin training at an Oshawa shop in mid-October, with the new shop expected to open in late October.

The Team Lead reports to Shop Management and works closely with them to ensure all merchandising, customer service, and shop operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company policies and guidelines.

You will be guiding the staff, however, you will not be responsible for hiring or discipline. Your success will come from your ability to engage with customers, drive sales, and work in a team environment.

This is a position that requires availability for all types of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.

There is potential for this position to become permanent based on business needs and performance.
