Purdys is seeking a Shop Manager to lead our new Scarborough Town Centre pop-up, with training in Oshawa in October and an opening planned for late October.

This full-time 6-month contract role requires open availability across days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

You will drive sales, manage inventory, recruit and coach the retail team, and ensure an exceptional in-store experience. There is potential for permanent placement based on business needs and performance.

• Two years of progressive management experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Ability to lead a team, coach and develop staff.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiasticShop Manager to lead our new pop-up shop at Scarborough Town Centre. The successful candidate will begin training in Oshawa in early October, with the new shop expected to open in late October.

The Shop Manager is responsible for achieving overall profitability, maintaining efficient shop operations, and providing effective leadership to the retail team. This role acts as a liaison between the shop and the Purdys Support Office while supporting company policies, programs, and initiatives.

Success in this role comes from your ability to engage customers, drive sales, develop team members, and create an exceptional in-store experience.

This is a full-time, 6-month contract position requiring open availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

There is potential for this position to become permanent based on business needs and performance.
