Job summary

Purdys Chocolatier in Ottawa is seeking a Team Lead to guide staff in merchandising, customer service, and shop operations at the St. Laurent Shopping Centre. The role emphasizes engaging with customers, driving sales, and maintaining a high standard of service.

This permanent part-time position requires availability across all shifts (days, evenings, weekends and holidays). You will lead by example, motivate the team, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced retail/hospitality environment.
• Strong customer service and sales focus.
• Able to work all shift types including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Hours are estimated to be approx. 32 hours per week

Expected rate of pay: $20.25 per hour

Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Lead to assist with leading towards success at our shop in St. Laurent Shopping Centre. The team Lead reports to the Shop Management and works with them to ensure all functions relating to merchandising, customer service, and general shop operations are performed efficiently and according to the policies and guidelines of the company. You will guide the staff; however, you will not be responsible for hiring or discipline. Your success will come from your ability to engage with customers, drive sales, and work in a team environment.
