Job summary

Purdys Chocolatier in Winnipeg is seeking a Team Lead for our new pop-up at Kildonan Place. This part-time, 6-month contract role starts with training mid October at a nearby shop, with the new store opening in late October.

You will supervise staff, drive sales, and ensure merchandising and operations align with company policies. Availability for all shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays, is required.

• Leadership experience in a fast-paced retail/hospitality environment.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive sales and engage with customers.

Hours are estimated to be: 24 hours per week

Expected hourly pay: $18.65 per hour

Job Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Lead to help lead our team to success at our new pop-up shop in Kildonan Place. The successful candidate will begin training mid October in a shop near by, with the new shop expected to open in late October.

The Team Lead reports to Shop Management and works closely with them to ensure all merchandising, customer service, and shop operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company policies and guidelines.

You will be guiding the staff, however, you will not be responsible for hiring or discipline. Your success will come from your ability to engage with customers, drive sales, and work in a team environment.

This is a position that requires availability for all types of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.

There is potential for this position to become permanent based on business needs and performance.
