Job summary

Dollarama in La Malbaie, QC is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support the management team in daily retail store operations, ensuring excellent customer service and a well-organized, efficient store environment.

You will assist with supervising staff, manage shipments, stock shelves, and handle opening/closing duties while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Flexible schedule and at least one year in retail with leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Approximately one year of relevant experience in retail.
• At least one year in a supervisory role.
• Flexible availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist the management team in store operations and staff.
• Boxing and unboxing daily shipments.
• Stocking daily products on shelves.
• Climbing ladders to reach all areas of the store.
• Providing good customer service and resolving customer issues.
• Ensuring store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Following up on assigned tasks.
• Conducting manager-on-duty tasks: breaks, time and attendance tracking, hiring and performance management.
