Job summary

Purdys Chocolatier is seeking a Team Lead for a new pop-up shop at Lambton Mall, with training in London, Ontario starting mid October and the shop opening in late October 2026. The role requires leadership in a fast-paced retail setting, a strong focus on customer experience, and the ability to drive sales while working as part of a team.

This part-time, 6-month contract covers varied shifts including weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.

Hours are estimated to be: 24 hours per week

Expected hourly pay: $20.25 per hour

Job Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic Team Lead to help lead our team to success at our new pop-up shop in Lambton Mall. The successful candidate will begin training in London, Ontario mid October with the new shop expected to open October 30, 2026.

The Team Lead reports to Shop Management and works closely with them to ensure all merchandising, customer service, and shop operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with company policies and guidelines.

You will be guiding the staff, however, you will not be responsible for hiring or discipline. Your success will come from your ability to engage with customers, drive sales, and work in a team environment.

This is a position that requires availability for all types of shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.

There is potential for this position to become permanent based on business needs and performance.
