Job summary

Purdys is opening a new pop-up shop in Kildonan Place, Winnipeg. We are seeking a Shop Manager to lead daily operations for a full-time, 6-month contract, starting with training mid-October and shop opening in late October.

You will drive sales, manage the retail team, and ensure a top-notch in-store experience. Work hours are approximately 40 per week with a variety of shifts, with potential to transition to permanent based on performance.

• At least two years of progressive management experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiasticShop Manager to lead our new pop-up shop at Kildonan Place. The successful candidate will begin training in a shop near by in mid October, with the new shop expected to open in late October.

The Shop Manager is responsible for achieving overall profitability, maintaining efficient shop operations, and providing effective leadership to the retail team. This role acts as a liaison between the shop and the Purdys Support Office while supporting company policies, programs, and initiatives.

Success in this role comes from your ability to engage customers, drive sales, develop team members, and create an exceptional in-store experience.

This is a full-time, 6-month contract position requiring open availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

There is potential for this position to become permanent based on business needs and performance.
