Job summary

Dollarama in Val-dbd7-Or is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, drive sales goals, and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction. You will stand in as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager is absent, overseeing staff and operations to maintain efficiency and compliance.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of retail experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory/management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Help with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues.
• Train, coach, and develop employees.
• Perform cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assign tasks to the team and ensure store safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Responsible for hiring and performance management.
