SALES ASSOCIATE (Part-time) — Guelph, On

We are currently looking for part-time Sales Associates to join our innovative, growing company located in the Stone Road Mall, to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, fun and professional work environment. If you are reliable and excited about your work, this is the job for you.

Reporting to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, Sales Associates are the welcoming faces that greet customers and provide them with a memorable buying experience. Sales Associates must provide excellent customer service and support. They are excellent communicators who have a knack for building relationships.

With a keen eye on customer satisfaction, the Sales Associate answers questions, handles complaints ensuring maximum client satisfaction, and maintains a clean, well-organized sales floor. They drive new and ongoing sales opportunities — directly impacting The Quark Group's growth and success. Ultimately the duties of a Sales Associate are to achieve excellent customer service while consistently meeting the store's sales goals.

Qualifications
  • Relevant retail sales experience; other sales-driven environments will be accepted.
  • Secondary school graduates or GED.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Proven experience as a collaborative and respectful team player
  • Commitment to maintaining an emotionally safe work environment for you, your colleagues, and your customers.
  • Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and share laughs when appropriate (always)
  • Outgoing, professional personality with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Computer skills: POS system, Outlook, MS Office tools.
