Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Customer Service Manager to oversee front-end operations, ensuring an outstanding shopping experience and customer loyalty. The role focuses on safe processes, compliance with company programs, and staff guidance across the front end.

Responsibilities include supervising front-end teams, training associates on systems, and managing purchases, returns, and discounts while maintaining accurate register procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed, including safe lifting techniques, cleanliness, evacuations, down registers, emergency codes and theft.
• Handles customer and Associate concerns and provide guidance as required.
• Monitors Front End associates ensuring proper coverage, coordinating breaks and assisting with outlying registers.
• Provides training to Associates on systems and Company procedures, including scanning accuracy, productivity, programs, discounts, EAS system and safety.
• Oversees purchase, return and exchange transactions and assists with corrections to meet Company guidelines.
• Ensures all EAS systems are functioning to standard; cashiers deactivate, greeters handle issues, and log any failures.
• Prepares registers for opening/closing daily and supports cashiers with change, while maintaining cash levels and auditing register accuracy.
• Oversees and promotes company sponsor programs and initiatives such as credit card service, Walmart protection plan, charity initiatives, and discounts.
