Job summary

Michaels is hiring at TOR-ANCASTER, ON for a store role focused on customer service, checkout, and merchandise recovery. You will engage shoppers, enroll customers in rewards programs, and support omnichannel/POG processes in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including returns and go-backs
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies
• Interact professionally with customers and team members
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
