Job summary

Michaels is hiring at the Port Coquitlam location to deliver friendly, efficient service and a smooth checkout experience. You will help customers find products, enroll them in rewards, and support omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS.

The role also involves unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and keeping the store well-merchandised and in stock. Applicants should have retail or customer service experience; ability to stand long hours; and a commitment to friendly, professional service.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers, locate products and provide solutions.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards program enrollments and private label cards
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain store recovery, shelf replenishment, and in-stock conditions
• Support shrink and safety programs
