Job summary

Michaels in Barrie, ON is seeking team members to deliver friendly customer service, guide shoppers, and ensure a fast, accurate checkout experience. You’ll help with truck unloading, stocking, and planograms while maintaining a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

This role involves cross-training in Custom Framing sales and production and participating in store safety and shrink programs. You’ll engage customers about rewards and private label cards, enroll members, and support omni-channel

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Willing to cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram duties.
• Maintain in-stock store and complete merchandise recovery as needed.
• Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs.
