Job summary

Michaels Brantford is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and keep the store well merchandised. You will handle cash, support BOPIS/SFS processes, participate in truck unloads and restock, and uphold store recovery standards.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering Michaels’ Brand Promise. Prior retail or customer service experience is valued, and eligibility to work in Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Previous experience with checkout and cash handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollments.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and complete merchandise recovery activities.
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; uphold Brand Promises.
• Interact with customers in a respectful manner and model Michaels' values.
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
