Job summary

Michaels Store – Pickering, Ontario is hiring for a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a smooth checkout experience. You will participate in unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and maintaining in-store standards during all shifts, including evenings and weekends.

The role supports omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and store recovery, with training in VOCA, SOPs, and safety. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on the rewards program and enrollments.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with BOPIS and Ship From Store (SFS) processes.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Ensure merchandise recovery and in-stock store through SOPs and policies.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
