Job summary

Michaels Ottawa-Kanata is seeking a friendly store associate to help customers, locate products, and provide a fast checkout experience. You will assist with truck unloads, stocking, and planograms to keep the store well merchandised and in stock.

The role includes participating in rewards program enrollments, omnichannel activities, and ensuring a safe, climate-controlled retail environment. Availability includes nights and weekends in Canada.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain store appearance and in-stock status through merchandise recovery and standard procedures
