Job summary

Michaels in Owen Sound, ON is seeking a customer-focused team member to help customers locate products and provide friendly service. You will handle checkout, enroll customers in rewards, and participate in omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS, while supporting stock, planograms, and merchandise recovery.

The role requires retail or customer service experience, physical ability for standing and lifting, and the flexibility to work nights, weekends, and early mornings as needed.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and enroll them
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance including the return/go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote a positive image as a team member
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
