Job summary

Michaels Stores in Canada is seeking a store team member to deliver friendly customer service and help customers locate products. You’ll ensure a fast checkout experience, assist with truck unloads, stocking, and planograms to keep the store well-merchandised and in stock.

You’ll promote the Rewards program, participate in BOPIS/SFS processes, and support safety, shrink, and SOP adherence. Evening/weekend shifts may occur.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide them with solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Assist with omni channel processes including BOPIS and SFS
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Store recovery, merchandise safety, and in-stock maintenance
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Interact respectfully with customers and coworkers
