Dollarama seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations, drive customer satisfaction, and achieve sales goals. You will act as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence and help lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

With 2+ years in retail and supervisory roles, you’ll mentor staff, manage merchandising, and ensure safety standards while upholding company policies. This role offers competitive compensation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.
• At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Responsible for hiring and performance management.
