Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily retail operations and lead the store team. You will ensure excellent customer service, hit sales goals, and function as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence.

You will support staffing, merchandising, cash handling, and safety compliance, while coaching employees to deliver results. Open availability and a customer‑focused mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability for day, evening, weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Help with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues.
• Train, coach, and develop employees.
• Perform cash management and store opening/closing duties as needed.
• Assign tasks to the team and ensure store safety and cleanliness.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Participate in hiring and performance management.
