Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations in Canada. The role focuses on achieving sales goals, customer satisfaction, and acting as Manager on Duty in the Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• Two years of retail experience required.
• Minimum two years in a supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
• Maintaining visual merchandising standards.
• Responsible for hiring and performance management.
